Thank you for being part of my journey and for your continued support! ♡ 🌹 FAQ: ♡WHAT IS SUGARING? Sugaring is an ancient art of hair removal. Consisting only of sugar, water and lemon (citric acid) the sugar paste is spread onto the skin against the hair then the hair is removed in the direction of growth, virtually eliminating breakage and ingrown hairs. Over time, you may notice a significant reduction of hair. Sugar is all-natural, kept only slightly warmer than room temperature so no more burning, sugaring only removes dead skin and exfoliates the area, sugaring does not removed live skin, and can remove hair as short as ¼ of an inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) – making sugaring a superior service to waxing in nearly every way. ♡HOW FAST WILL MY HAIR GROW BACK? Everyone's hair grows differently. Typical hair growth is somewhere between 4-6 weeks. If your hair growth takes longer than that, just let me know and we can get you set up with an appointment schedule that best fits your hair growth. First time clients switching over from shaving, may not get the perfect result the first session but with follow-up maintenence it only gets better. There are three phases of hair growth: Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen. The anagen phase of the hair is the most variable stage of growth, from birth to puberty. So the hair could be entirely beneath the surface of the skin or almost full grown. Both catagen and telogen hairs will be visible and easily removed. After your first appointment, the Follow- up service makes it possible for us to catch any of those anagen hairs that emerge a week later. When it comes to hair removal, it will take about 4-8 visits before all cycles of hair growth are simultaneously in sync, that's why you may notice some growth a week or so after your service. ♡HOW IS SUGARING DIFFERENT THAN WAXING? A few differences are: -Sugar is only heated to body temperature, so there is no chance that your skin will be burned with a hot product. -Sugar paste will not stick to live skin cells and is easily dissolved in water. -The hair is pulled in the direction of growth, while removing shorter hairs than waxing and without breakage. -Sugaring results are noticeable right away. ♡HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR SUGARING APPOINTMENT? Grow your hair out to at least ¼ inches long (approximately 10-14 days of hair growth), about the length of a grain of a rice. If hairs are longer than 1½ inches it's recommended for you to trim, to make sure the sugaring hair removal is more comfortable for you. Keep in mind not to trim it too short if you decide to do that. Try to Wear Loose fitted and breathable clothing such as cotton made fabrics. A few steps to also consider: ● Exfoliate at least 1-3 times a week and 1-2 days before your appointment. ● Moisturizing your skin helps to prevent dry skin and it minimizes ingrown hairs and breakouts. ● Hydrate and drink plenty of water. Staying hydrated helps the hair come out easier (less painful). ♡SUGARING POST CARE? 24 hours after sugaring: • Avoid exfoliating the sugared area for at least 48 hours, even if exfoliation is part of your normal routine. • Avoid excessive sweating since your pores, and therefore hair follicles, may become clogged. • Avoid any kind of friction to the area. Consider wearing looser fitted clothing and underwear. To prevent folliculitus and other breakouts. • Avoid touching the area. 48 hours after sugaring: • Exfoliate as needed but with care. Your skin may still be more sensitive than normal. • Protect yourself from the sun using a high quality sunblock. • Avoid lotions and moisturizers that include harsh chemicals or fragrances. • Avoid tanning. The UV light from tanning beds can harm your freshly exfoliated skin. • Avoid swimming. Even chlorinated pools and hot tubs can carry bacteria. Give the skin on your body the same care you grace your face with. Three days after your appointment, start a daily exfoliation routine with your favorite scrub! This will exfoliate the thin layer of skin away and set that hair free, preventing an infection, ingrown hairs and dead skin. Do not scrub too hard. Moisturize daily using natural products with no additives, preservatives or artificial fragrances.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Changes can also be made online for your convenience. If a cancellation is due to illness, please refer to the Sickness Policy below for more details. No-call, no-show appointments will be considered same-day cancellations and will be charged 50% of the service total. MISSED APPOINTMENTS No-shows will be charged 100% of the service total using the card on file before any future appointments can be booked. Same-day cancellations will be charged 50% of the service total to the card on file. LATE ARRIVALS We respect your time and appreciate your respect for ours. Please notify us if you are running late. If you are more than 10 minutes late, a $10 late fee will be added to your service. After 15 minutes, your appointment may need to be rescheduled based on availability. For facial services, late arrivals will result in reduced treatment time to avoid impacting the next client. SICKNESS POLICY In light of ongoing health concerns, we’ve adjusted our policies to support your well-being and peace of mind. If you're feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of illness, please reschedule your appointment. There will be no penalties for cancellations due to illness, even within the 24-hour window. If you suspect you have an infectious or contagious condition, please cancel your appointment immediately. Note: Skin care and esthetic services should not be performed if you are sick. Your health and the safety of others come first. INCLEMENT WEATHER Your safety is our priority. In cases of extreme weather (snow, hail, flooding, etc.), we may contact you to reschedule. If you're unable to attend due to inclement weather, please notify us as early as possible. No charges will apply for rescheduling or canceling under these conditions. CONFIDENTIALITY We value and protect your privacy. All client records, health history forms, and conversations with your esthetician are kept confidential. We do not share client or email databases with outside organizations. SPECIAL CONDITIONS Please let us know before booking if you have any special needs or require accommodations. New clients will be asked to complete a brief consent form at check-in. MINIMUM AGE POLICY Clients under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a consent and waiver form before receiving services. A parent/guardian must be present during the service with valid ID. Brazilian or intimate area sugaring is only available to clients aged 18 and over. THANK YOU We understand that life happens.
